Tonya
Hi I’m Tonya. I am a teacher turned high school librarian. I have a husband, two grown children, four dogs, a donkey, and a multitude of cows. I am Texas born and raised and very proud of my deep southern roots. My family, my home, and serving God are most important to me, but I have always needed a creative outlet; therefore I have many hobbies.
I enjoy decorating and growing beautiful flowers in my yard. I take great pleasure in reading a good book, scrapbooking, and making jewelry, but my number one hobby is photography. (Oh, and I love glitter and sparkle and makeup.) Our Southern Life was formed out of this need to create and combine several of my passions. This is an endeavor that my daughter and I are embarking on together, which makes it all the more fun!

Howdy, I'm Katie. I am in my mid twenties, I'm a newlywed, a new home sales consultant, and a lover of the outdoors. After graduating Texas A&M (whoop!) in 2013 I took a job in sales working for a construction company. Although I love my job I have always searched for something bigger, something to make on my own.
My husband, Lance, is currently in a residency program for family medicine and we reside in Montgomery, Texas. We spend most of our free time fishing, attending Aggie sporting events, and traveling. (Mostly in a tent, because you know, medical school debt.) I love designing and decorating homes, a good wood working project, painting, and shoes.
